  1. That is possible, even if the STM / ATM expand and have their services run more frequently, thing is people will not give up their car.

    NHL news

It is interesting, certain cities are in a weird position.
  4. I went last night, the interior is almost completed Even the seats in the choir section are quite nice and comfortable (bench seats for the whole row)

  7. Ouch. I never stayed there but I went to Koko once and the place downstairs a few times. Plus what is more interesting Conde Nast Traveler ranked Opus in it's Top 10 Canadian hotels this year.
  8. http://www.journalmetro.com/linfo/article/1033304--chute-de-beton-sur-l-avenue-viger You got to be shitting me!
  9. It would be a bloody miracle, if they finally have an online store. Our two upscale department stores don't even have one, while Bergdorf's has one and that is way more upscale than Ogilvy's and Holts. Christ even Harrods in London has an online store. What is with Canadian businesses taking so much time to adopt an online store? What else would be more interesting, maybe a food section for high end cheeses, caviar and et. al. If they do merge both stores, now that be interesting to see. Guess only time will tell. Also if this did happen, what would they call the new store anyways? Would they rename Ogilvy as Holts or rebrand the whole Holt Renfrew name as Ogilvy?

  13. I can't wait for this part to be completed, which should be soon. They have been working on it for a while now.
  14. So that is what they are doing. http://www.ic.gc.ca/app/ccc/srch/nvgt.do?lang=eng&prtl=1&sbPrtl=&estblmntNo=123456183240&profile=cmpltPrfl&profileId=501&app=sold
  15. It is a nice project. Would be interesting to see, just not sure if it is such a great location. That spot a nightmare for traffic. True, it might be better when all the construction will be completed, but I don't see that happening.

  17. I can't wait I am all prepared! Nice warm socks and those toe warmers that last hours on end.
  18. I drive around that area daily now. There is a nice police presence on the service road, thankfully the cop yesterday was calibrating the radar gun
  19. That is pretty interesting. I am not sure how they will stop the roots from going through the concrete. With those trees, you can get some fresh air and it will cut down on noise from street level (thats the way I see it). The future of the concrete jungle
  20. I read this, this morning. It honestly made me smirk. I do understand that many people want to protect french and they want this to be a french society. Quebec keeps wanting to do business with New York, but how will that work when you force people to only speak french and when you have to conduct business dealings in english. I know I started a whole hoopla just in the Quebec Politics section about the french / english divide. People need to learn how to bloody coexist, it is the 21st century.
  21. If that is true, there is no real reason to pay for something like that. Regular passenger rail would probably cost less and can still go at 40 km/h.
