  1. Drive around that area is quite chaotic. I can't wait until it is all completed. Thankfully the new overpasses will be out of steel and some concrete. Which I find more aesthetically pleasing.
  2. http://www.cbc.ca/fp/story/2011/09/23/5448016.html#ixzz1Yn6DKMzq Who teamed up with WalMart for the grocery section or did WalMart go in on their own?
  3. WOW thats crazy. It seems people still have faith in Miami, even though the market there was one of the hardest hit during the credit crunch of 2008. In all honesty, they should really put in a casino. http://www.costar.com/News/Article/Genting-Unveils-$3-Billion-Master-Plan-for-Resorts-World-Miami/132189
  4. Courtesy of Advisors.ca http://www.advisor.ca/news/industry-news/bmo-makes-buying-gold-simple-59141 Seems like BMO is following Scotia bank.
  5. I concur. This project should go back to the drawing board, seeing I find it already dated.
  6. I ended up driving through it today, it seems like it is coming along nicely.
  7. Would be nice, but would cost to much. Our best is when the train line has better times during the day, might be more effective. Plus with the train, we are still years away from having a better schedule of every 30 minutes.

I got tickets for the Jets @ Montreal in January I am so HAPPY!
  9. http://argent.canoe.ca/lca/affaires/quebec/archives/2011/09/20110919-190854.html More and more stories like these will probably be coming out this year and the next. I can't wait for this to blow up in their face. Revenu Quebec has some of the dumbest people working there. One person says one thing and another person says another. So one never really knows who or what law really applies for anything. All they do is give out disinformation and will stop at nothing to ruin good people lives. I really cant go into detail about other things I know, seeing I don't want more heat from the government. The government sees everyone as corrupt, but it is the institution that is truly corrupt. There are certain loopholes in the tax law people do not know about, some do but many people do not. People need to find out about one of the major loopholes in the tax laws here in Quebec, so they better protect them self from being stabbed in the back.
  10. I am going with, probably not. They might just keep it under wraps for a while, but who really knows.
  11. Nice to see the new map. I just wonder which line they will work on first though. Which is a bigger priority, the orange or the yellow?
  12. Most likely sit idle. Montrealers / Quebeckers have no vision or drive. I am mistaken, there is a few that has expanded and doing well for itself (i.e Gaz Metro, Bombardier and SNC). At least the SAQ bought an American company, we have yet to reap any rewards from that purchase and probably will never reap any. There is so few companies left in this city or province that has the money to go outside the country and expand. I guess Quebec has notice all the failures in Canada, when companies expanded way to quickly (i.e Nortel and Olympia and York). Thing is, it seems we are stuck in the 90s or something we are scared to take risks. But hey that is my two cents.
  13. Thing is the people that run this city and province are quite incompetent. Trying to reason with them or understand what they do, will not work. If they did end up moving the port, it be one of the dumbest things I would have seen in this city in a very long time and that is not including the infrastructure they built decades ago, before most of us were born.
  14. I can't wait for this to open again. High tea hasn't been the same since it has been under renovation

  16. I am happy to see that they are stripping the building.
