Le gouvernement Charest a conclu un partenariat public-privé pour la construction du nouvel édifice, qui, toujours selon le quotidien, occupera une partie de l'esplanade de la Place des Arts. La ministre de la Culture du Québec, Line Beauchamp, devrait en faire l'annonce officielle mardi lors d'une conférence de presse qui réunira le premier ministre Jean Charest, le président du conseil d'administration de l'OSM, Lucien Bouchard, et le chef Kent Nagano. Le coût du projet dépasserait quelque peu les 100 millions de dollars. La nouvelle salle devrait accueillir entre 1800 et 2200 personnes. OSM.pdf
