The land is owned by 9126-0281 QUEBEC INC. The name of the company that owns it is "DANIEL OUAKNINE" which the office is located at "2000, RUE PEEL, BUREAU 660". The business type registered with the government is "Exploitants de bâtiments non résidentiels" Plus the company been around since 2003. Owners are, MARC KAKON and DANIEL OUAKNINE. Marc Kakon is the owner of Groupe Immobilier MK / Groupe Mk and also the current president of Residence Sepharade Salomon. I found a Q&A with Marc with The Canadian Jewish News. So far the only info I found on Daniel Ouaknine, that he had his own notary. It seems that he has not filed with Corporations Canada since 2008. So it seems it will be an office building. Who knows it might be the future HQ for Groupe Immobilier MK and Groupe MK.

Best bet is... destroy La Ronde and put the stadium there or they wait until they redo the Bonaventure and the stadium could be near the Victoria Bridge, seeing it seems there is space there.

If the Expos did come back, why of all places the track? It would be another stadium, in the middle of no where. I guess seeing Quebecor couldn't get the Nordiques back this year or next year. The next best thing would be spending money on a baseball team.

It would be interesting to see a team in Saskatoon. Thing is how many teams in the league are currently in a city with only 225,000 people though? It be just easier if the NHL would cut their loses and get rid of a few teams (i.e Phoenix, Islanders, Panthers, and Kings). One thing I really do not want to see another team in Ontario, they be like L.A with two teams or NY with two teams.
