  1. I just looked at the revisions, certain areas that use to be 210m are now 120m. There is even one area that use to be 210m and it is now 65m. Shame.
  2. I checked their Facebook page/group and it says they are working on an online butcher shop. I know 40 Westt / Queue de Cheval have something similar, you can buy meat from them like, if they were an ordinary butcher or so I have been told.
  3. That would be interesting to see, Yankees vs. Jays at the Big O would be nice. I'll be sporting a Yankees jersey though
  4. (Courtesy of CTV Montreal) -- Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations He's back in town! He was spotted filming a my great-uncles restaurant.
  5. Thanks for that. Its pretty nice to see the other bridges that cover the same distance and their costs would be. Plus it is nice that they have a time table in it, so by 2022 we could have a new bridge or tunnel?

  7. I can not wait to see the new park. It is just sad that is is behind schedule.
  8. Nice congrats Air Inuit. Flights will still cost an arm and a leg though. Plus with their planes it takes 10.5 hours too get to Salluit. Seeing their 1st gen Dash-8 have a range of 1889 km and travels only 500 km/h, so it has to stop to refuel a few times before getting to its destination.
  9. Thats pretty cool. Plus it is the first time the Today Show doing a 4-hour show outside of the US
  10. Gaz Métro to acquire Central Vermont Public Service Here is an interesting article about Gaz Metro / Vermont: http://www.timesargus.com/article/20110712/THISJUSTIN/707129905/1003/NEWS02 (Courtesy of NYT) Thanks monctezuma for combing all the threads

AWESOME! I wonder when we will see this at clubs here Actually this might work in Calgary
  12. http://www.tourisme-montreal.org/Press/Press/Press-Releases/montreal-best-summer-cities-lonely-planet http://www.tourisme-montreal.org/Montreal-Tourism/Latest-on-TM/Press-Releases/montreal-s-summer-tourist-season-the-best-in-a-decade Thing is, if they start writing one thing and write something else in PDF files, now we have a big ass problem.
  13. Nice, I can't wait for them to start building this. It should be fun being outside and able to watch the game on the street. All they are missing, is a designated area so people can drink outdoors
  14. Yah, now that is something I would like to see also. New York City - 48.7 million tourists (2010) [this includes Americans and foreigners] Paris - 42 million tourists (2010) Las Vegas - over 40 million tourists (2007) [this includes Americans and foreigners] Toronto - 10.66 million tourists (2007) Quebec - 9 million tourists (2008) Honolulu - 4,734,800 tourists (2007) As of 2004 or 2005, Montreal was 85th or 86th in tourist arrivals (overall), but 15th in all of North America. The numbers on that website only counted the international visitors.
  15. It is interesting to see that we got 3rd, yet NY pretty much at the end of the pack. What is more interesting, is that we get about 7.5 million tourists per year here.
  16. What part of Broadway they talking about? The Time Square area? If we had more theater shows, taller buildings and bright lights to distract people I guess it could be like Broadway.

  18. $650/sq.ft and one of the unites is around 2500 sq.ft. Thats pretty good price in Westmount I take it. I saw this project for the first time, just now. It seems quite interesting, especially the rooftop enclosed pool and terrace. Plus the rooftop design is quite 1950s?
  19. The new totem bus stop signs have been removed and replaced by the old ones.
