How often, has anything happened in NYC at the UN? Probably not that much. So I do not see a big difference, but anything possible. From what I see. The only way you can acess the site, is from one bridge or from the water. Also who will be responsible for the security in and around. Seeing the SPVM has like a fraction of the operating budget of the NYPD. If it did happen, I wonder how much the government will give to the SPVM or will they just turn it into a military ground, so the military protects it. My only concern is the security of the city.

One thing is for sure. Montreal, is the cheapest out of any European city (choice) and even Toronto. Only time will tell. Also if the UN, did move here. How will it help Montreal, Quebec and even Canada, in the long run?

I hope to see something like Pret-a-Manger here in Montreal. They have a few places in London and New York. Everything made fresh and its organic. Yum. I'll for sure try this place out

Was it on here or the Gazette, that I read we spend way more then any province for construction and what not, for our roads. -
Guess these people did not know about, what was happening. Also guess they never used public transit (bus / train)

Hope we don't have the same problem, as what happened in Melbourne. One tram rear-ended the other this morning. So far about 20 people injured.

I used too be from there. I live currently in Old Montreal. Griffintown (?sp) slowly coming back. Give it a couple years.

Was looking into that project years ago. Really nice project, didn't like the area way too much noise at night. The area I am now, still noisy but not as noisy as 333. I was suppose to move into the second phase of McGill Ouest, but they are behind. It was suppose to be finished May '07.
