  1. Man, they really have some start cracking down on graffiti, the situation is getting ridiculous. I'm tired of these "bien-pensants" who defend taggers and claim that "they're just expressing themselves"... they can express themselves in other ways. Just like blue_dragon, I'm wondering: who does this? Is it pre-teenage kids, gang-members, or older people with psychological problems?
  2. Wow, after reading his description of the Mcgill Stadium I was expecting something MASSIVE... I wonder how he gets through the day... I mean according to his logic he'd have to crawl everywhere as to not block the view of anything.
  3. I noticed that this building is under going major renovations, anyone know what's going on?
  4. Seriously, I don't know why the media gives sooo much attention to him all the time. They give the public the impression that he's some sort of God-like figure... Like I said before, we need a Heritage Montreal but I just wish they would stick to what they're supposed to (and do it well) aka: protect old things.

    Quartier Concordia

Indeed! I got to use today and it made me feel quite cool. I'm wondering why they didn't put tiles on both walls though...
  9. Cool video, but man...the music! It sounds like a cross between Seinfield bass lines and Motley Crue guitar solos.
  10. Hopefully it's nothing bad... http://lcn.canoe.ca/lcn/infos/faitsdivers/archives/2010/03/20100320-132446.html
From http://communities.canada.com/MONTREALGAZETTE/blogs/metropolitannews/archive/2009/10/27/keeping-graffiti-off-that-pristine-white-guaranteed-milk-bottle.aspx Looks like it wasn't enough...
  13. Wow, I guess we were all complaining for nothing....mea culpa! This is amazing, even better then the original!

Nice!
  15. This whole thing is turning into a giant orgy, where nobody climaxes...
  16. Exactly, the building was disfigured when de Maisonneuve was enlarged. It's a shame because the Eastern and Western facades are really nice looking.
Does anyone know a place that still develops 35 mm film? I do not have access to a dark room anymore. I have a lot more but I have yet to scan them. Maybe I should? And for the plaisir, une photo pris dans mon p'tit village : St-Joseph du Lac.
  18. Merci pour les photos. Je l'ai vu de l'est hier et WOW! J'aime bien, c'est different.
  19. Say hello to the new 2-22 Ste-Catherine : Question: who pays a world-reknown architect to design something they can't afford to build?
