  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT4Lvz0acEc I am currently uploading the video, it should be up in 10 minutes. It is a small clip of me driving by, so you can see what it looks like right now.
  2. Interesting to see this project would only start in 2017, when the condo developments would be erected. I wonder how hard would it be for CSL to try and get the project to be PPP, if the City of Montreal doesn't want to fund it.

It goes to show, that city doesn't care about traffic. They like everything packed up (i.e causing pollution and wasting gas). These people are completely useless. It be beautiful if CSL, VSL and others can sue Montreal for screwing them over.
  4. It sucks the rooftop was closed last night. It would have been nice to have it open for one last time. Also on the 17th, the hotel is supposedly selling off furniture and what not.
  5. I just wonder if they will open it up ahead of schedule or slow down so they can work on other things. I can't wait for it to reopen though, seeing the detour driving me nuts.

  7. Nice to see someone came to their senses. Now all we can hope for, is that many more people do the same.
  8. There is so many eyesores in this city that are still standing. Sucks that the people who own those buildings, wont fork over the money to try and change the exterior.
  9. That is what I can rejuvenation. Can we place bets, when it will look old and dirty all over again?

    M sur la Montagne

I really like the recent illustrations. It seems like an urban oasis. I know this is crazy, but that would have be an awesome pad for some billionaire.

Read more: http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/Military+Culture+Festival+starts+with+roar/7174534/story.html#ixzz25Kfon5Z5 It was interesting being in Old Montreal yesterday and seeing multiple CF-18s flying by. Plus I was reading, there was a mini anti-war protest also going on because of this. I saw some comments on Twitter and some news website about, how some people feel bad for refugees that left war-torn nations to come here and to hear fighter planes again. It does suck, but they could have went to Costa Rica or Liechtenstein seeing both those nations do not have a military (I know that is really mean).

It will cost the city of Beaconsfield nothing, instead of building a sound barrier or costing people of Montreal and Quebec, to slow down cars / trains. They are the morons for buying a home, that should have never been built so close to the highway / railway. The city is to blame for zoning those areas as residential. I am so going to town hall meetings from now on. Time to put these senior NIMBYs in their place. Sort of on topic, but not really, the highway speed should be increased to a maximum of 140 and a minimum of 100. Boulevards / Service roads should be 70, instead of 50. The whole transport rules/regulations in this province have to be worked on.
  13. Hmm... If I remember correctly they wanted to redesign the whole hotel years back, but the whole project fell through. Guess they are trying again or something.
  14. Now that is pretty awesome. Would be interesting if the VIPs do choose to add in a cinema room (would be interesting to get other residents who like watching certain shows to meet up and watch together)
  15. If I recall we use to have direct flights to Ben Gurion many years ago. It would be nice having economic ties with Israel, but we all know a certain politician would freak out if that happened. Plus after all the other students who take part of Israel Apartheid week each year.
  16. That is a pretty good location. Would be nice to know the start price of a unit

    Expos de Montréal

In all honesty, Montreal we have enough people to support a baseball team and basketball team. I did some looking around and Philly almost has a similar size population and area as us. The thing is, finding 35000+ people to actually see a baseball game. Even the cost of living between Montreal and Philly are similar. If we do get a new team, I would just hope the baseball field would be outdoors, just like Jarry Park Stadium
  18. I wish I took pictures. We moved the office Last time I was there, all I saw was some piles of dirt in the back of the parking lot behind the fence.
  19. So 5 years behind schedule and cost over runs. when this stuff happens, people need to be fired.
