    I do some what feel the same way as you. It is too bad, that they chose not to use the current facade and build on top of it. I take it, that the building on top of the current structures, wouldn't support the weight of the additional niveau or it would have cost more doing retrofits, than actually building a new building.

    Seems like a nice project. At least they are going to have an IGA inside. All I have to say is, that road is a nightmare to be on, during some hours and it will probably worse, after this project is completed.

    If this city was smart. They would work on the timing of lights for starters.

    How many more months? Seeing Summer 2012 has gone, Fall is almost gone and Winter is almost here. Why not say "it will be completed, when it will be completed". Don't say Summer 2012 and you can not meet the deadline.

    +1 You do get a nice view. Plus you are pretty close too two highways and a metro. Also the grocery store is a few minutes away. The only issue is the noise.

    21e The sign must be new, seeing I don't remember seeing it a few weeks ago. I would like to know, how they came up with the name for this project though.

    My office was in that building for a good 8 months or so.

    What can I say, inflation is a bitch. Either way, we pay now or later. It sucks, that many of these projects were improperly calculated, but sooner or later it will cost the same or even more. Let her have fun, pulling money out of the infrastructure and putting it in $7 daycares.

    3 year delay isn't that bad. At least isn't the Place de la Cité internationale phase 2, that has been on hold since the dawn of time.

    Understandable, let them be branded as scumbags also and fire all of them. I bet there are people wanting to have a job and can be way more kind.

    It is for sure a really nice renovation, but nothing beats Complexe Les Ailes, before it went bankrupt.

    Nice It is such a great location.

    Who knows what will happen. If only the STM would spend more money, getting more of those machines that dispenses tickets / top-up OPUS cards. In the long run, the STM wouldn't have issues with their employees having issues with language.

    I know, I know. It wasn't my argument. I know what you mean though. Thing is, I thought the videopoker machines were banned in bars though?

    The one reason I recall this not happening, was because where the venue and new casino would have been located. It would have been easier for the less fortunate to go and lose their money.
