  1. Good for the people over there. Might give us more reason to leave the city and have better transport system to/from Mirabel-Tremblant

    McGill Ouest - 9 étages

You should see the deck that the owner has its amazing wow he has the best view of the Montreal skyline
  3. One thing I hate my student bus pass doesnt work in the machines anytime during the day anymore its pissing me off
  4. I forgot about this topic. There's so many movies filmed in Montreal. Hmm forgot the names of the other ones I know of argh

    McGill Ouest - 9 étages

Don't get me wrong McGill Ouest is a great development for Griffintown/Old Montreal. Really well located and cheaper than some developments in that area.
  6. sweet! cant wait to see this go into action
  7. Get yourself frozen Come back around 2100-2150 thats what I want to do. Live until the end of time it will suck though not having my real family and friends around.

They have a bigger hole in the ground now. Just checked it out.
  10. You talking about the train or metro plan or both? It would of been possible probably if the PQ didn't scare people off with the stupid seperate from Canada BS. Thats the only thing thats holding Montreal and Quebec back from becoming a true world leader in many things is the stupid politics.
  11. One thing didnt read every post. If you go to Complexe Desjardins downtown they have a little mockup of what they are planning on doing on display.
  12. wow its going up fast. guess when you have money like Quebecor, things get moving.
  13. The real one. I wouldn't mind seeing this faux one happen also
  14. One thing I hope they install more displays to tell you when the next metro is coming. Also I wonder how much it would cost to have LED display bus schedules for all bus stops. Probably be way to expensive, plus people would probably destroy them.
  15. Guess I'm for it now, seeing STM needs money. One thing would be interesting to only need to buy one pass for the rest of your life. You can top it each month for where you are or where you want to go. Make it more high tech for the future have an RFID installed on the card so when you get near the station or bus stop it activates something near the bus stop to tell drivers someone might be waiting for the bus, also something interesting the card could show you when the next bus is coming. Something out of Minority Report, like the newspaper that would change its front page. Have it the size of the regular STM bus pass
  16. Thats what I am talking about. Plus have the tram system up and running. One thing Atleast certain bus roots will be eliminated which would be great if something like this ever happens. Sucks that its suppose to be for 2100. 2020 would be way nicer. Probably by then I'll be living somewhere else and not taking public transit anymore. Would of been great to have now, be able to compete with other major cities. True Montreal only has about a 1.3+ million ppl living on the island. The whole island is about 500 sq.km with about probably 2 million people. One thing I calculated. If NYC was the same size as Montreal (rough calculations) it just have 1.28 million people Seeing NYC is 2.48x larger than Montreal and have a population of over 8 million. Makes a difference I guess. This one for the train pretty interesting, all its missing is a connection to Tremblant.
  17. wow I always wanted to see what the area around the Met looked like before it was built. Can't believe they had traffic back in 1958 lol. Honestly they didnt think they need more than 3 lanes back then? They totally screwed us over almost 50 years later. No way we can undo what they did. *sigh*
  18. man oh man Ave Park would have been pretty awesome

    Beauxarts - 20 étages

LOL thats in Atlanta looks like a huge version of Tower of Terror
  20. Everyone should use public transport, may'be than the Government would step in and help out the STM more. 24/7 metro-bus system in Montreal would be great. Also if the trolly/street cars do come back which would be nice hopefully it will do most of the island. One thing hopefully by 2010. Most cars on the market will be biodiesel or hybrid's so people can trade in their cars for that to help out a bit. One thing it should be illegal to drive a car older than 20 years old now, no matter what shape its in. Government should by them and give rebates for getting new fuel efficient cars or pay for public transport and what not.
