  2. The penthouse was sold for $13 million. Article What's interesting that a few months back they declined a $13.75 million offer. Some interesting people have their hands in the Ritz. Rolaco use to be the previous owners of the hotel up until 2008 then it switch hands to another company. Im right now trying to sort through all the documents. The company that owns the building is 9172-0904 Quebec Inc or commonly known as Golden Square Mile Holding which is headed by Andrew Torriani and another gentleman. Plus Golden Square Mile Holding has a partner under 9172-0888 Quebec Inc, which Andrew and the other gentleman are part of and also consists of a company from Calgary called Unity Square LTD. Just did some more digging the other company financing the project "Mirelis" is connected to Andrew Torriani partner of Golden Square Mile / The Ritz. I can't wait for it to re-open. It would be nice to have afternoon tea there for once.
  3. During a business lunch I heard a similar thing. One more thing that was added on top of China being #1 for the 21st century, when they get enough resources from other nations. They wouldn't need the outside world to survive. They have a big enough market to live off each other and we are all screwed after that. I would love to visit China some day. One more thing about China, they have the largest airline in the world now or something (Article).
