Ahh ok, thats true the one here is under license. Its still apples to oranges if you compare to the other projects happening Canada and across the globe. So our Ritz could be more compared to the one in Paris / London? One thing just read that the hotel was designed by the same company that designed Grand Central in NY, now thats amazing.

US Federal Courthouse in San Diego (proposal) Guess its time for the city to give the courthouse here a nice facelift. Plus it would be nice if H-Q would fix up their building (i.e remodel).

I just read on wikipedia, the Ritz Residence in Toronto that the penthouse were proposed at $11 million and they are already sold. We some how sold the Montreal penthouse for an extra $2 million.

This whole annexation thing is way to funny. Seeing part of the MUHC is government funded, Westmount in a world of hurt. Either way Wesmount should play ball or many tax payers will hate them for making this go to court.

I hate politicians. If these people want to still use RVH, they should buy it and turn it into a private hospital for the people of Westmount.

This city hates tall buildings or I guess Khan didn't pay off enough people to let this project get off the ground. We know the politicians like pocketing money.

Thats something, having the largest hospital in Canada in our own backyard. Plus with CHUM getting new buildings and JGH adding another Pavilion. The largest hospital in the US is in NY "New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation", thing is its in different buildings. List of the best hospitals in the US (List) and the best hospitals in the world (List). The worlds largest hospital in the world is located in South Africa, it has some 3200 beds.

Plus you can probably double the price of the hot dog Just make sure its within the law, seeing this chocolate store in NY getting fined, seeing they have "library" in their name and the Department of Education going after them seeing it doesn't have a proper permit to be allowed to be called "library". I just checked Wikipedia and it seems there is so far around 9 of the W=A hotels using the "collection" banner, out of the 26 (current / under-development) W=A hotels. I really like the Hilton Group, they have different types of chains, at different price points all over the world. Its one of the more comprehensive chains to say the least. 2013 can't come soon enough Let's go already!!! One more thing I noticed checking other major luxury hotel chains, some or most do not even operate in Australia. -

I know it has been said before 2013. Its nice to know it will also house residential units. Plus it seems only a few of the Waldorf hotels are also residences. Nice to see Montreal makes the list. This is what the one under construction in Israel looks like... Its quite small compared to ours. Also the one in London's Syon Park is quite small also. Its quite possible that we will see the Four Seasons here Also hopefully the Shangri-La will be in Montreal soon, seeing they are opening one in 2012 in Toronto and there is one in Vancouver already *crosses fingers for 2015-2020* We still got a list of luxury hotel chains (not found in Montreal): Luxury Collection (Starwood), The Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, Cosmopolitan and Morgans Hotel Group
