    We've been sucking since the day people left for Toronto and never looked back. Montreal is like stuck in god knows what year, by the time we reach 2025 or whatever, we will be still be decades behind. The way I see it, Montreal might look like Shanghai by 2100 (but still with buildings maxing out at 230m or wtv).

    That is a gross understatement. When I was going to school in that area, every day I would think about what it would look like if the buildings have gotten a facelift.

    I have been looking at the illustration, it seems that the concrete section would be for the emergency exit (i.e stairs) and elevators. Seeing it looks like about 8 feet wide.

    I hope the Domino's pizza leaves the building. One thing is a proper building Something you would see in New York or in some European cities. I just feel bad for the Phoenix condo the street back, they had amazing view before Quebecor decided to expand their building and now this.

    SyFy also shoots Warehouse 13 here in Montreal and Toronto. Beastly was also shot here, it stars Mary-Kate Olsen. Plus theres a movie called Immortals with Mickey Rourke, but I think it was mostly filmed indoors (like at one of those studios). I thought the Immortals were based on the Persian elite soldiers, but it is completely different.

    QdS would be the perfect spot for something similar to NYC "Time Square". Montreal really needs something like the ball drop at midnight, it would for sure beat going to a club. As for having something like the NASDAQ board, I guess it could work more on McGill College and St Catherine or park it in the "courtyard" of PVM on like a 12ft stand so people don't tag the LEDs.

    At one point, wasn't there a band that had their tour bus stolen in Montreal? So this cunt should be happy, thats all people did was break into her rental car. If her fans do not want to visit Montreal because of her so be it, at least Montreal got a shout out yesterday from the Golden Globes.

    Now that would have been a hell of a project back in 1929. It would have been nice if it got built, plus it probably would have been the only building that would well over 200 meters. It reminds me of the New York Life Building
