    All this means is that we will be playing an extra game and we will be playing the Russians in the quarter finals instead of playing for the gold. Seriously guys, aside from Getzlaf, Perry, Bergeron, Pronger and Brodeaur...Canada is outplaying and outshooting the opposition 2 to 1. If it wasn't for Hiller and of course the best goalie in the NHL Miller, it would have been two easy wins. Goaltending is the name of the game and at the present we don't have it.

    Habsfan, in my world and yours it would be ideal. A candidate who's exceptional in all facets of Hockey. But we live in a discriminatory environment where it is a MUST to have a GM, Coach etc etc speak to french and put a mediocre team on the ice instead of looking elsewhere for a true ble GM. If Ken Hollands and/or Lou Lamoriello's of the worlds were available, we would pass them by. Can't speak the lingo. If Sam Pollock at his prime was living today, we would have never given him a chance because he did not speak the language. This is discrimination pointe finale! I kept hearing the word continuity in the press conferences yesterday and that spoke volumes for me. A continuity of mediocrity for another 5 years because I'm assuming that's how long Gauthier is signed up for. Gauthier had already control of the team for almost two years, although silent he remained, he had control...look at the transactions the habs committed. Are you prepared to live another 5 more years with this type of management? The Molsons should have CLEANED house from top to bottom, not an inkling of the old regime and go younger. Hire people who understand todays hockey. Hey people if you thought Gainey was quiet and never demonstrated emotion nor see him, Gauthier is worse. He is the mirror image of Jacque Martin. What a comedy act this organization has become.

    Whether it's real or not, there's always some joker out there with his wires crossed thinking "I needs to find out"! and BAM! BING! Why promote vandalism? Who comes up with these bright ideas?

    This is the problem with the Habs, they continue to patch up an ordinary club with minimal trading and/or overpay free agents. I'm all in favor of trading away key assets and re-build either bytrading for emerging talent from other organizations or via the draft. When I mean via the draft I mean "High" first rounders. This years draft looks to be a good one with the likes of Taylor Hall, Cam Fowler, Tyler Seguin, Brad Gormely, Kiril Kabanov etc etc... Unfortunately for them and for the fans, we've become too complacent and have accepted mediocrity. We need to clean house from upper management Gainey, Gauthier, Boivin, Martin their proffesional scouting staff and their development team and go younger. Hockey has changed, somebody tell the Canadiens coach and management that this is not 1990's Hockey. It's evolved....

    The system in Chicago is noisy as hell! My only complaint about Chicago and I've let my in-laws know about it is their transit system. Montreal much better.

    Why the fuck not! eh. Meanwhile, they froze my salary for 2 years because of the economy. Where's the justice in that? Is it any wonder Canadians bolt down south in droves to work.

    Jeez, that's really nice. At first glimpse I didn't think nothing of it but after studying the pictures and reading, Holy SHIT! That's nice. It kinda reminds me of the Holodeck in Start Trek (The controls). Very very nice.

    I beleive one of them was called "The Denizen" which is Hilton's flagship Hotel and I know Montreal was one of it's destination to build but I also read of illegal shenanigans (Spying in the Hotel business) that postponed or perhaps scrapped this whole project altogether.

    The habs that night were possessed by the ghosts of the greatest habs that ever donned the uniform. Seriously, had the habs lost against the Bruins after the fantastic ceremonies, it would have been a travesty to say the least. Let's hope they can take that momemtum with them against the flyers who after firing their coach recently are playing their worst hockey. We need to take advantage of that and pounce them.
