    It seem this city can not land a significant hotelier. 4 Seasons, Shangri-La, Conrad, Waldorf, etc etc...

    Mr. Chavy mentions the expansion projects of Waldorf Astoria and Conrad. We were familiar with Waldorf Astorias but the Conrad is news to me. Do we know anything more about the Conrad opening in Montreal or am I reading this incorrectly.

    Is it me or prehaps the grey rendering but I'm not to keen on the look of this tower. I'll wait further judgement once we can see a good clean copy.

    WTF! Kudos to Toronto but this is Montreal's baby, why are we jumping on this bandwagon and propose something here? I know all about the Casino project years ago but let's put our thinking caps back on again and come up with a master plan!

    NFL, MLB or NBA for that matter will never ever work here, not in my life time anyway. Who in their right mind would want to own invest and own team in this unstable market, political wise. We do have a few shrewd businessmen in Quebec that perhaps might show some interest such as Desmerais, Laliberte and cie but I believe they have zero interest in any types of sport franchises in this city. None of them made any bids to save the Expos nor to purchase the Habs. This city loves it's festivals and why not, it comes once a year and than bye-bye, no strings attached. I just don't see anyone putting in the cash to own a team otherwise they would have done it by now.

    Roland Emmerich & Steven Speilberg were set to shoot Sci-Fi movies here in Montreal it was announced early this year. I know it got postponed for some reason but to date I have yet to hear anything on these two projects. Anyone know?

    We should also try and peak the interests of the people responsible for the James Bond franchise and try and get a segment filmed here as well.
