  1. (Courtesy of CNW) It should be open in the Spring of this year. I drove passed it, honestly it doesn't look at like it at all ready. They are setting up shop in the old Ferrari-Maserati dealership. At least now people don't have to go to Toronto or John Scotti to get their Rolls
  2. I couldn't rename it in time. So it is stuck with Zach Braff lol The actual title is "Rooftop Greenhouse". Seeing the Zach Braff article wasn't that great after rereading it.
  3. I remember reading somewhere, that the city is allowing farmers to setup stands in certain parks and sell fruits and vegetables this summer.
  4. (Courtesy of Winnipeg Free Press) It is off L'Acadie on Antonio-Barbeau. It is practically on the building where I grew up. Reason why I say I grew up there, I was usually at my dads work when I wasn't at school.
  5. All I can find is... ELIAS NOUJAIM (President) and the company been around since 2003. "Précisions (facultatif): PROMOTIONS IMMOBILIÈRES" With more research it seems Elias also owns a company called "Construction Et Gestion Nevco Inc" which has been in operation since 1997.
  6. Awesome! I wonder who else will setup shop in Montreal now. Who knows we might finally have a 3 Michelin-star restaurant in our city - Bobby Flay - Masaharu Morimoto - Laurent Tourondel - Tom Colicchio - Joel Robucon - Jean Georges - Sirio Maccioni
  7. We got a winner! Don't get me wrong I like Dubai's, but this city not that futuristic yet and a bridge like that would be an eye-sore, but that is just me.

    Vidéos sur Montréal

I hope to see more videos like this one.
  11. All it is missing is like Holt Renfrew and an Apple store. Plus I wonder if Target will setup shop over there. Off topic (Courtesy of CTV News) I guess we will have more premium outlets within the next decade. Seeing Ogilvy for sure a premium. I just wonder what they will be selling at DIX30, is there that many people that like what they carry?
  12. It will for sure go well with the other buildings they put up
  13. (Courtesy of the Financial Post) RBC is pulling out, yet BMO and TD are expanding. Lets see what happens.
  14. Here is another one they could use, Sabich. Thing is, it probably would be picketed constantly by people who want to "boycott Israel".
  15. Something on the lines of Garde Manger Food Truck?
  16. YES!!!! It be awesome if we could watch the game from outside.
  17. Phyllis Lambert, that name rings a bell. Oh Bronfman! I remember having to write a paper on her in my french class. The NFB has a documentary on her, link.
  18. The LPC/PLC can promise all they want but Vision Montreal will complain of cost over runs Doesn't matter who gets elected, they will have to replace the bridge either way.
  19. The way I see it, if they do ever extend the metro more into the West Island, they will for sure increase the cost of the metro (similar to what they did for Laval). Thing is I truly don't see the reason to have the metro extended to the West Island anymore though. Seeing the AMT trying to add more trains to the line that is near the airport (to like every 30 minutes) within the next few years, that will for sure help commuters (Which screws over the STM 211/221). Plus with the airport supposedly getting its own dedicated rail line, that will help out even more. I am for the extension of the Blue-line to the Loyola campus and the Green-line more into Lachine. One thing the STM can even Zone sections of the city like what the AMT does with the train or even what they do in European cities (most people will have a cow if the STM does that though). One thing as per the idea of turning the St Hubert Airport into our version of Toronto Island Airport, it seems like a good idea but I don't think it would fly. Could be more cost effective, connecting a rail line from the St Hubert Airport to whichever line is near the airport. With the rail line it could take less time than a metro line, but that is just me. Plus Air Canada Jazz and Porter would have to move to that airport though. Maybe even have private planes and charters fly out of St Hubert also. We have 14 years until the new Montreal 2025 is unveiled, so we all got to sit and wait to see what happens. We all might see something like this by 2050 (if we are lucky).
