  1. (Courtesy of CJAD) Now we are just missing alcohol. Would be great able to knock back a beer or some wine and go back to work. NY (food trucks)
  2. If this ever sees the light of day. I hope someone builds something next door where the parking lot is or turn that parking lot into one of those robotic parking lots that they have in Tokyo
  3. I can't wait for this baby to go up. All that area is missing is Place de la Cité Internationale - phase 2, Tour St-Jacques and a few more buildings and we are golden in that part of the city

  5. L'Héritage du Vieux-Port $6,250,000 ($694.44 per sq.ft) St Regis $3,750,000 ($1027.40 per sq.ft) Le Chateau $3,500,000 ($783.00 per sq.ft) 333 Sherbrooke $3,100,000 ($939.40 per sq.ft) Le Caverhill $2,495,000 ($891.07 per sq.ft) Gillette Lofts $1,195,000 ($694.74 per sq.ft) One thing is, this city in the past 5-6 years has seen an explosion in million dollar listings. Plus some of these listings are probably on the market for years before someone buys them.
  6. (Courtesy of The Montreal Gazette) The above link is quite lengthy. The way I see it, we wont have a new bridge until 2025. Plus in the 47 years the bridge has been open, ridership is up 22 times. I just wonder what it will be like in 2057 (1.64 million - 8.2 million cars)?
  7. JJ Buckley - 750 ml (1998) Moet Rose [uS$274.99] SAQ - 750 ml (1998) Moet Rose [C$461.50]
  8. (Courtesy of CJAD) I am all for trying to get better prices and a larger selection of wine. Now the SAQ just needs to buy a spirits distributer in the US so we can get better prices on scotch, vodka and other hard alcohol.
  9. $1000 per sq.ft is almost like the prices they have in New York I have a feeling the value of land and properties near the Waldorf will end up sky rocketing.
  10. I really like the sound of that People that move into those buildings will have an awesome view of riots when the Habs win or lose in the playoffs
  11. It should be allowed. I am for peaceful demonstrations (go ahead yell and scream all you want), but if you break something (you die).

  16. (Courtesy of CBC News) I remember hearing about this about 1-2 years ago. I am just surprised it is not playing at the Segal theater.
  17. Read more: http://www.montrealgazette.com/Cadillac+Fairview+office+tower+plan+ahead+without+tenants/4530226/story.html#ixzz1I7NHMUKi One website said this project could be worth $1B, but it will not see the light of day if there isn't a major tenant.
  18. Time for someone to fill that parking lot with a building
  19. Israel Island (Courtesy of Reuters) I remember posting, this a while back but I couldn't find the thread or post. So I ended up posting it here.
