    In all honesty, I totally forgot that they were increasing the taxes until today. Last time they announced the increase of the QST was back in 2009 or something right?

    Plus I heard this morning the City of Montreal bringing back certain taxes, I can't remember which ones. YAY 2011 is the year they bleed us to death lol One thing with the tax increase, they better start cracking down on shady businesses and construction companies. Have those fuckers start paying their share.

    I just got a message from Rogers saying "Starting January 1st, 2011 the GST will be 8.5%" What's even more appalling by 2012 it will be 9.5%

    I watched my first CFL/Grey Cup game yesterday. Congrats to Montreal for two years back to back winning and also beating Sask twice in a row for the cup. I found it to be a very close game.

    Not really sure which buses are around there. Never really looked for a bus stop. I am so use to walking around there summer/winter. I just checked. The closest buses to the Lowney are the: 74 and 75. Both should get you to the Bonaventure metro. Both also stop after 6pm, but run every 20-30 mins. Best bet is just walk. Oh yah forgot about the 515, not sure where that really goes though.

    Am I seeing this correctly... St Catherine Street was 2-way?! Let me guess... because you weren't allowed to park on the street back then it was a 2-way, but now seeing we can park on there its now a 1-way?

    Not sure if this really counts as a renovation of sorts. Cineplex is planning on fixing up one or more cinemas with their UltraAVX. Plus the larger seats are supposedly in pleather. Whats funny that Montreal and Canada are finally making the cinema experience more upscale. In Mexico and Thailand certain cinemas have been like this for years. Especially the ones in Bangkok at the mall called: Siam Paragon (massive mall). The Paragon Cineplex in the mall has 15 screens. 1 of them only for members called: Enigma. One of them in Ontario or something is open to people only 19+ because they serve alcohol in one of the cinemas also they have food delivery to the seats.

    Thats one really nice Caisse. That buts to shame any CIBC or RBC building. Seeing the ones in Quartier International are moving/moved already. Only nice bank still around is Bank of Montreal near Notre Dame Basilica.
