I honestly beleive that Chipchura is not a 4th line centerman. He belongs at number three. Carbo has a lot of confidence in him. He takes a lot of important face offs and killing some major penalties as well. Every game he plays he becomes more confortable. Oh by the way...Janne Lahti is presently the best player in Hamilton has been for almost a month now and will most likely be the player the Habs will call up. LaPierre has slowed down considerably and Kostitsyn needs more work defencively and D'Agostini is in a slump. If I was Carbo, I would shift Latendresse to the Koivu line for two games and if he still plays shit, than as much as it hurts me we have no choice but to send him down to Hamilton and get his game straightened out.

Kotsopoulos will be playing on the first line with Koivu and Higgins, demoting Ryder to the third. What in heavens is happening to Latendresse. He seems disinterested. He looks like he belongs in the AHL. No pep... fustrating to watch. Plekanic played awesome, Komisarek stepped up his game. Loved it when he decked Tucker. Komisarek should grow a goatee and develop a mean streak...

Flyers are quickly becoming the cheap shot artists ... again, elbow to Kovalev's head at the end of the game. There's no room for this shit! The team played well, best game of the year. Koivu was no doubt our Captain on a mission last night. Ryder needs to put one in the net, than he'll score 5 in three games...Easy game for Huet for a change, defence solid especially Komisarek and Hamerlick. Latendresse played well (best game so far) he's effective when the game is a little rough. Gutsy performance from Kostopolous, he took a beating, he took one for the team. He's a character player. Kostitsyn was lost...maybe we should bring Sergei and demote his brother to Hamilton.

In terms of transaction, something is definitely brewing. There were 12 scouts at yesterdays game perhaps not all for th habs but 12 just the same. 3 of them from Vancouver and I keep hearing Marcus Naslunds name being mentioned.

You're joking right!? There's absolutely nothing there but farm land. Please note, that when there is a car race of stature such as F1, Champ car, Nascar etc etc you are promoting the city. Camera crews from all over the world will be settling down in our city taking beautiful panoramic shots of the Montreal skyline, St.Lawrence river etc etc not farm land for pete's sake. Also, are there any 5 star hotels around the area let alone 5 star restaurants... I think not. Let's leave the supposed Mirabel race track to the young aspiring drivers of Quebec. It'll be an amateur track for testing proto type cars.

Next game against Carolina...can't wait. I'm assuming Carbo will dress up same line up. Getting Roman Hamerlick has solidified the defence. They were solid last night. A couple of mental lapses from Brisebois but luckily Huet was there to save the day. We need to get Ryder going, he's a streaky player and probably will score in three or four straight games.

Good game for the habs against the sabres the other night. Great to see Higgins finally light up...now if we can get Ryder to wake up than we'll be in good shape. Anyone know if LaPierre is playing tonight?

As much as I would like for it to happen, I wouldn't hold my breath. Too bad though, 'cause it would benefit Montreal big time.

We do need a big enforcer; however, M. Carbonneau says he does not need one. My theory is this, if he doesn't need one than why carry Murray and why did we get Kotsopolous...because they bring energy? We need guys who can put the puck in the net not run around like headless chickens given out 2.5 checks per game. Get rid of these deadbeats and bring up LaPierre, Sergei K and Matt D'Agostini and see what energy + playmaking = C'est le buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttttttttttttttttttttt. Calvert. They do have youth like the three I mentioned + Mike Fischer, McDonaugh, Pacioretty, Emelin, Maxwell, Korneev etc etc...we do have talent, we do not use them to their full potential.
