At least the buliding fits in with the rest of the bulidings, I can't say the same for the others in that area.

Whatever the reason for the loud color, it is good advertising and it is a great way to show the public that, "We're making more buildings and there will be even more on the way."
-
The building could have been better, it reminds me of something built closer to an airport not in downtown.

I like these photos, very nice and simple. -
If this building had a less clumsier design, it would be a nice addition to the city.

A friend of mine wanted to know why there are so many empty lots downtown and why there is a 120 meter height limit on some buildings?

I wonder if the city could fix up the older crappy looking apartments

Yes, this is a good thing to build.
-
Now it finally looks like serious progress.
-
Would there even be enough room downtown to build something like that?
-
It almost makes you wish it were a bit taller; but they are building two of them(besides I would'nt trade the views on the top floor for nothing).

First the city should extend the exsisting metro lines and figure if its cost effective first because their first priority should be to replace the MR-63 trains (and not a moment too soon) then find a way to serve much needed areas.
-
The best thing is for these buildings to be renovated but that entire area should get a boost after improving the Quartier des Spectacles.

How about let the Impact play at the Saputo stadium during the regular season and the Olympic Stadium(that place needs spectators) during the playoffs, like the football team; after a few years just expand Saputo stadium.

If Trump built a large tower it would only be about forty stories topping off less than 180 meters.

This would be perfect for Montreal; I just hate that f:mad:ing hight restriction. Good job Cataclaw.
