    that's cool. we were considering going this weekend but the shitty weather threw us off. certainly seems like a better idea than the summer "beach".

    There's a nice big crane on site, portable but still impressive. Things seem well on their way. Didn't think they'd preserve the facade.

    In your opinion, what makes this block so sketchy and unappealing? It's right between The Bay and Place des Arts so plenty of foot traffic. Even the tattoo place looks decent. Maybe when they're done tearing up Bleury it'll come around? Don't forget that 539 Ste-Catherine is also coming up nicely. Correct on the old Esprit location. Maybe the problem in both cases is that they're a little too big for the current demand? Five Guys filled up their building nicely, but it was a lot smaller.

    I really hate to necropost, but I'm legitimately wondering why the hell this place is still empty! Legal trouble? Place is too big for clothing stores, not large enough for a big box retailer? Seems like it would be a perfect location for somekind of Apple store competitor (whatever that would be) is that what the promoters are holding out for?

    Excuse me while I throw up. What is that big white thing? This is just a temporary rendering right? Well if people here got all up in arms about the Sax, then I'm sure something can be done about these. This is my neighborhood.

    I don't see the problem with having more competition/offering in the area. I've been fighting with the Fort P.A. crowds for years, I want that Adonis all to myself!

    Good point. We just walk to work, never actually used the 'burb train. I still think it's a relevant quesion, although out of scope. Who am I kidding, we're not leaving the island

    If I ever decided to live off the island, it'd be some project like this one. Going to keep a close eye on it. How busy is the train line in the morning? Possible to get seats between 7 and 8AM starting from St-Lambert?
