J'ai déjà vu pire, mais bon.

 

On est en 2010 et on construit toujours identique à 1980.

It looks like one of those crummy apartments that might go up in Sim City.

The good thing is that this area has been densifying alot and I'm still wondering why.

 

Most buyers will be from the middle east, maybe because Adonis is next door

Sales office for these communist blocks has been up for a while and I never see any cars in its parking lot.

 

My guess is these are a hard sell with the Cité L'Acadie taking shape about two blocks away.

 

Honestly though, the developer should be ashamed of themselves for putting this proposal forward and the city should be slapped for approving it. It makes the "community housing" projects in Chicago and Detroit look well designed...

Those apartments make me think of the Bronx or Queens:

 

 

 

Feels really gritty, which i think is kinda cool. That being said... i'd still have prefered something more modern, perhaps glass?

Gritty is great when the area is gritty. L'Acadie isn't.
