    no matter how it's pronounced if this project gets built it will further enhance Sherbrooke as the greatest street in Canada, sorry Toronto and Vancouver you have nothing that comes close to Sherbrooke (and Calgary...don't make me laugh)

    agreed this should be priority number 1 for the city,the situation can not be allowed to remain as is, this cannot become another Viger square the damage to Montreal's reputation will be immense

    Anyhow hats off to GDS for coming up with it first, getting back to to what she wrote... yes there might not be a large market for high end condos in Montreal but as was pointed out previously the bulk of this project is made up of hotel suites (not condos) in fact there will only be 76 for sale, so I give it a decent chance of being built

    What's the big deal if she used the rendering posted on this website? she clearly wrote that more than one person send her a copy of the new rendering,plus she didn't exactly steal a photograph and claim it as her own.

    I wonder how this building will look from the side, using the 1000 as an example the building looks quite nice from the front but from the side it looks really awful, let's hope it's not the case here

    These are the same assholes who stage a riot every March 15 , the city actually gives these animals a permit to protest... of course our idiot mayor is always surprised when violence occurs

    Since that rendering is easily over 5 years old I wonder if there will be any major changes in the design (maybe two 40 floor towers)

    So what does that mean? at least an year of sales before construction starts (if sales are good that is) or will they start this summer or fall?

    Really? I was under the impression putting up bricks is much more labor intensive and time consuming(expensive) then putting up pre-fab concrete

    you aren't kidding that was the deepest foundation I ever seen (try to picture a massive lot twice as deep as alititude ) thanks AlainS for the info, do you remember how long the site was abandoned for? I'm sure it was about an year

    I remember the construction of 1000, especially the fact that the site was abandoned for almost an year after they dug the foundation, I forgot why but I think a new developer finally stepped up to put up the building

    A non stop shuttle bus leaving Vendome wouldn't be a bad idea, a couple of small 25 seat buses would be do the job

    what are the chances Dinu and his gang make an appearance claiming civilization as we know it will come to an end if the height is raised to 36 floors?

    Wow 2014 that's not very good news, they started advertising this project in 2009 that's when the original poster went up, plus it might not even go up to 36 floors

    Did anyone notice across the street in front of the revenue Canada building they have an ad with Dinu bumbaru's photo on it

    Funny enough with all the tall towers going up, this project (with only 17 floors)will probably have the most positive impact on the MTL skyline. It will get even better when the CHUM starts rising
