Welcome to Montreal, land of vandals. On the other hand, Seville has absolutely NO street-level personality whatsoever (in line with the Forum), so this was bound to happen.

les panneaux blanc sont temporaire il y aura des pierres qui formeront une arche un peu comme autour des fenêtre des anciennes bâtisses qu'il y avait.

Cops closed Ste-Catherine between Chomedey and Atwater. Shit's flying off the Seville!

Je me demandais pourquoi ils l'avaient fermé Ste-Cath. Ils ont aussi fermé Peel/Wellington pour la même raison!

Walked in front of Seville yesterday.

 

BoM is open, the Starbucks (sporting high tin-ceilings) looks hours away from opening. Adonis workers were busy at work. Also noticed than Geroges Laoun to open a branch at the west end of the block.

 

What a difference 2 years makes! Some welcome life to an area that has gone begging for too long.

City cleaning up Cabot Square. There was an actual, honest-to-goodness FAMILY hanging out in the park today. Children!!! Not just drug dealers and other unsavoury types.

Ce n'est pas l'oeuvre architecturale du siècle mais on avait tellement besoin d'un tel projet dans ce secteur qui devenait carrément décrépit. Beau succès qui amène ce qu'il faut en ville: de la densité.

Actually, the new Starbucks has a LOT of personality. We were quite impressed when we walked by it last night.
