If it wasnt for the privatization of distribution and transport of electricty in Ontario, Ontario Hydro would be #1 on the list.

 

The STM has more revenus than the TTC, kinda surprising, but a good news i guess.

 

Also, if you look on the tab, there are other list, in the most indebted companies, Hydro-Quebec ranks 2 in Canada, behind Brookfield but before GMAC Canada

Le premier ministre de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador affirme qu'Hydro-Québec oeuvre contre les intérêts nationaux du Canada.

 

Dans une diatribe livrée mercredi devant un auditoire du Conseil canadien de l'Energie, à Saint-Jean, Danny Williams a imputé à la société d'Etat québécoise une attitude de protectionnisme économique en mettant des bâtons dans les roues du projet du Bas-Churchill dans le but, a-t-il dit, de protéger ses propres intérêts.

 

Danny Williams soutient qu'il est temps que le Canada dispose d'un réseau qui permettrait la libre circulation de l'énergie au pays.

 

Le premier ministre Williams avait lancé quelques flèches du genre vers le Québec, il y a environ trois ans. Pour convaincre le gouvernement du Canada à l'aider à développer le potentiel hydroélectrique du Bas-Churchill, il avait suggéré que le Canada agisse pour être moins dépendant du Québec, compte tenu de la situation politique incertaine au Québec.

Excusez mon ignorance, mais pouvez vous m'expliquer pour le Labrador appartient à la Terre-Neuve. Géographiquement parlant, il me semble que ça devrait appartenir au Québec. It makes sense...No?

Il s'agit d'échanges de terrains entre différentes colonies qui ont mené au fait que le labrador fasse parti de terre-neuve, entre autre, avant que Terre-Neuve n'entre dans le Canada et qu'il s'agissait de 2 colonies britaniques séparées.
