Je trouve l'option 2 la plus intéressante, mais elle me convient pas totalement.

Un mix de 1 et 2 peut-être...

Tant qu'à s'amuser voici ma proposition.

Tu aurais mon vote !! Je me suis justement demandé pourquoi le nouveau design des bus ne faisait pas partie d'une des trois propositions ?

Amir Khadir, sole Québec solidaire MNA in the National Assembly, compared Lucien Bouchard and Sam Hamad with federal International Co-operation Minister Bev Oda Thursday, saying he was tricked into thinking Montreal got the best deal possible on its new métro cars.

Oda is in hot water after authorizing a change in an official signed document to cancel a $7-million grant to KAIROS, a church-based development agency.

Premier Jean Charest came to the defence of Bouchard in the assembly, winning applause from his Liberals and some PQ members, including PQ leader Pauline Marois.

And Hamad dismissed Khadir’s estimate that the métro cars would cost 50 per cent more than projected, explaining that “the rest was for the garage.”

Hamad added that 20 people attended the meeting where the deal was explained. “One person (Khadir) understood nothing.”

Hamad offered to sit down with Khadir and explain the deal. Khadir said only if media cameras were admitted.

Bouchard, acting for the Société de transports de Montréal, and Hamad, Quebec’s transport minister, convinced Khadir and other MNAs that Montreal was getting a good deal on new métro cars, at a price of $2.6 million each, or $1.2 billion for 468 new cars.

The government needed Khadir’s support for a special law to prevent competitors of the Bombardier-Alstom consortium from challenging the deal, signed weeks before a by-election in Kamouraska-Témiscouata riding, where the Métro cars will be assembled.

Clutching official documents from the STM and the city of Montreal, Khadir told the legislature that the price for each métro car is closer to $4 million, about 50 per cent more than the sticker price.

“They sold us the contract for the métro cars hiding the price of ‘options,’ adding $670 million in extra costs for the rolling stock,” Khadir said.

Instead of $1.2 billion, the new métro cars will cost $1.87 billion, he said.

But Odile Paradis, spokesperson for the STM, said Khadir was confusing the issue, explaining that the added costs were foreseen for contingencies, financing and updating the STM’s facilities, dating back to the 1960s, to handle 21st-century métro trains.

In fact, Paradis added, the actual métro cars will cost $2.5 million each, less than anticipated, thanks to favourable foreign exchange rates at the time the contract was signed.

“There are always contingencies,” Paradis added.

She compared the purchase with buying a house for $100,000, then adding on personal touches, such as a garage and a swimming pool, that might raise the price to $135,000.

“But I still paid $100,000 for the house,” Paradis said.

:D Can't wait for tomorrow. Please be option #1. Also tomorrow afternoon the Chairman of the STM will be talking about STM future for 2020.

I don't like the front of the first one. It will look dated pretty quick!

Exactement ce à quoi j'ai pensé, ça fait à la mode, mais les modes passent.

J'avais choisi l'option 2 parce que plus sobre et donc, plus indémodable. Je trouvais l'option 3 plutôt ordinaire.
