    Well since we don't have a thread for the ... whatever-it-is that's being built, I'll just leave this here. They've completed the Lasalle-facing wall and it's not too too bad. You can clearly see the stones from the church and maybe some other decorative elements on the first floor. Then it's red brick for the remaining stories and boring beige on top. It kinda looks like that ecolo condo building across the street. S'alright. Sorry no pics.

    Shit, I'm confused. Based on your picture looking east from University, I figured from Square Vic this was a second set. Maybe it's just the window washing thingamajiggy. My bad.

    You can sort of see the rings from Square Victoria. I think the second set is oriented towards Rene-Levesque east.

    You need to calm down, it's the second time you rub me the wrong way since joining this forum. The Children's was announced multiple times as a possible site for the new downtown stadium. I never said I thought it was a good idea. I've lived in Shaughnessy Village for a number of years. Now chill out.

    I still say an hollowed-out Forum could have made an excellent parking tower for a new baseball field should it have come to the Children's. But with S sur le Square and the Cabot Square revamp, I don't think it's a possibility, nor a good idea.

    Forum SAQ is street level and easily accessible. Nothing replaced Future Shop. Still empty except for Pekarna and Tim Hortons. There was a Guido & Angelina and it failed. I don't know what else could do well there.

    Lionel Groulx should be added soon, I hope. They've had this huge "Chantier Cellulaire" area for the past couple months on the eastbound-green platform but I've never seen anyone actually working on it

    I agree with Robert. There's some charm to that facade (although I wouldn't call it art deco). Reminds me a lot of 1492 Sainte-Catherine West which they did preserve when they converted the building to student residences.
