  1. Reminds me of the project near the Atwater market. I am surprised the larger 2 floor units are 1 bedroom + den w/ 2 bathrooms
  2. Can't wait to see the new shelters in person. I just hope on top of the anti-graffiti film, the glass is sort of unbreakable. Seeing if they replace some of the shelters in the West Island, the hooligans here tend to destroy the glass.
  3. Haha so true on the 55,000 for the Blue Jays. Make it NY Yankies vs some other team (Washington Nationals). Have the Nationals wear their old jerseys
  4. (Courtesy of Metro Montreal) I was thinking of something similar yesterday. When I saw the pictures and watched the video. It felt like a little part of Europe in Montreal
  5. Nice view for that part of town. Nice infinity pool. What would be cool is if someone buys unit 1126 and 1128 and turned it into one large condo. 1407 sq.ft to be exact, but that cost $584,000.
  6. One more thing, its going to be called: Dalle Parc. Its also 46.95 acres (complete park). The upper part as I said could be our version of New York's High Line, seeing that is 4.76 acres. From the images I am looking at, it looks like it probably be the same size (area wise). Only differences I can spot so far from the previous renderings/idea. This one the buildings are towards the south and not the north. They plan on moving the rails more towards the north now and the old renderings the rails were still in the same spot that they are now (present time). Old idea At least they are keeping the idea of "structure habitée" Worldwide Montreal
  7. Really nicely done Cant wait for them to go up.
  8. The two last ones remind me of the art in some of the metro stations. So it fits Montreal personality of sorts imo. Its going to be a nice facelift for the city, thats for sure.
  9. 400,000 sq.m of urban development (thats what they are saying in the video) The video like "thinking of the future but for today" (rough translation)
  10. Looks really nice What is this though? Answering my own question... "Lien entre la falaise Saint-Jacques et le quartier du canal" So its going to be our version of the "High Line" in NY. 2020-2025 Montreal going to be totally different
  11. I was just thinking that, man that must have been something.
  12. No shit Sherlock. The city population is getting bigger every year. What the hell do you expect? People from the South Shore, North Shore and West Island take the bus or a train service that crap into the city, UHHH NO! Some politicians keep smoking the same crap. They need to get with the program. Blame the MTQ for their lack of vision decades ago. Some reason politicians can only think a decade ahead and not four decades into the future. Whatever they do to the Turcot, we will have to change it again in another forty years anyways.
  13. Montreal, Wisconsin Not sure how Americans would want to come to Canada to see their beloved Football in the winter
  14. SYNOPSIS At the end of WWII, 60 minutes of raw film, having sat undisturbed in an East German archive, was discovered. Shot by the Nazis in Warsaw in May 1942, and labeled simply "Ghetto," this footage quickly became a resource for historians seeking an authentic record of the Warsaw Ghetto. However, the later discovery of a long-missing reel, inclusive of multiple takes and cameraman staging scenes, complicated earlier readings of the footage. A FILM UNFINISHED presents the raw footage in its entirety, carefully noting fictionalized sequences (including a staged dinner party) falsely showing "the good life" enjoyed by Jewish urbanites, and probes deep into the making of a now-infamous Nazi propaganda film. A FILM UNFINISHED is a film of enormous import, documenting some of the worst horrors of our time and exposing the efforts of its perpetrators to propel their agenda and cast it in a favorable light.
