Ca mooonte. Merci Vince! Je crois que ce projet va surprendre du monde. On ne realise pas toujours que cet immeuble de 14 étages est sur le bord du fleuve. On va le voir de partout. Le skyline de Montréal à partir du fleuve, des isles, du pont, de la rive-sud... cette tour va venir se faire une petite place! Déjà que le Solano phase 1-3 a eu un impact important.. rappellez-vous du trou qu'il y avait là avant?

Dude... it was built to a capacity of 21,273. Here's a freaking video of the opening game in March 1996. You can clearly see the same seats as 2010. Fast forward to 2 minutes in, Ron MacClean of CBC even states the capacity at 21,407 (they counted press boxes).

I agree! That area is an exciting place to live! With so many construction projects going on in the neighborhood, the whole place is going to be bustling before you know it. Griffintown is going to be Montreal's equivalent of NYC's meatpacking district. Historically industrial but converted and gentrified into a hip trendy area!

They always declare a sold-out arena. Other franchises do the same. There is, however, a significant disconnect between attendance and ticket sales. I've been to CH games during "quiet times" and witnessed countless empty seats with my own eyes. Nevertheless, our attendance is still extremely high!

Je compte 38 avec le RDC qui est 2x la hauteur des autres étages. Il y a peut-être une mezzanine. Il y a peut-être un étage supplémentaire au dessus qu'on ne voit pas à cause de l'angle. Je ne sais pas ou se trouverait le 40ème. Mais bon, attendons d'avoir plus d'info! T'es un héro, Gilbert!! Difficile de juger l'architecture sur ces premiers rendus, mais ça l'aire très bon! J'adore les façades courbées! 40 étages... wow! C'est quand la dernière fois qu'on a eu 40 étages+ à Montréal? 1992? Si cette tour est construite, elle serait seulement la 7ème tour de 40 étages(+) en ville. On parle de 120m minimum avec cette tour. 40 étages ça peut donner jusqu'à 160m+!

I don't necessarily advocate the use of violence, but if the Americans do one thing well it's protect their property. If you so much as trespass one foot on somebody's property, you'll find a twelve-gauge shotgun pointing at your face. Maybe Venezuela could learn something from the U.S.A. in this regard! -

You're kidding me... right? Let me get this straight: A skyscraper was under construction. At some point, during construction, homeless people began to occupy the floors of the building, even as construction was going on. These people refused to leave and so the government stepped in and bought the building. Now the technically abandoned and unfinished building houses a bunch of impoverished Venezuelans? Wow. That's insane. -

Ce secteur est appellé a renaître bientôt avec la construction du Quartier des Spectacles juste à côté. J'ai hâte!
