Jadore le fait que Chanplain ouvre pour la Saint -Jean-Batiste comme turcot a ouvert pour lexpo67 . Il y as 42 ans, l'epoque où que lamerique du nord " voyait grand", marquait l'ouverture de lechangeur turcot pour lexpo 67 et il impressionna plus d'un. Petit correctif: Turcot fut ouvert à la circulation à la fin avril 1967, il y a de cela, 52 ans (et non 42). 

Et en effet, comme tu l'as mentionné @tokywan , je trouve que c'est une excellente attention d'ouvrir le pont Samuel-De Champlain à la circulation dans un premier temps le 24 juin, et d'autre part le 1er Juillet.  Ce sont 2 dates, qui en plus d'être facilement mémorables pour nous tous, font un petit clin d'oeil sur toute l'importance qu'a eu Samuel de Champlain par ses explorations du territoire québécois et celles qui l'on mené, entre autre, jusqu'aux Grands Lacs en 1615.

La seule chose de beau a ce pont ce sont ses piliers en dessous sinon c'est un gros bof on repassera pour comparer ça au Golden Gate.

 

Le pont situé a la plus haute altitude du monde la pont Baluarte au Mexique . Tout un exploit d'avoir construit ce pont. Et vraiment très beau en plus.

Montreal's Samuel de Champlain Bridge opens delays, criticism

Several months behind schedule, Montreal’s Samuel de Champlain Bridge has opened to traffic in one direction, with the whole structure scheduled to be fully operational for July 1.

The $4.2 billion project took four years to complete, replacing the former Champlain Bridge that had fallen into disrepair since its construction in 1962.

 

For now, only traffic going to Montreal is able to use the bridge. After Canada Day, the bridge is expected to be fully functional for both north- and southbound drivers.

The project is still awaiting a Light Rail Transit line and a pedestrian and cyclist pathway.

SSL, guided by SNC-Lavalin, won the contract that originally had the bridge scheduled for completion in December 2018, but construction delays and cost overruns have plagued the project from the outset.

SSL and the federal government have been at odds over who is responsible for the delays and added costs.

Non. Fin septembre selon radio-canada (et au plus tard fin octobre selon le contrat).

• Seulement le BC et l'Alberta ont payé pour
• Trudeau a donné un cadeau aux Québécois avec les taxes des ''vrais'' canadiens. 
• Devrait avoir un péage, injuste considérant que le Pont de la confédération en a 1
• SNC Lavallin a été privilégié aux détriments des autres firmes de génie des autres provinces.
