The fire seems to have happened at 1063 Rue St-Alexandre, that is not Wilson Lofts, that is the building next door Southam Lofts. Could someone confirm if there was damage to Wilson 1061 building? or was it only on 1063 Southam lofts?

After looking at this picture, I got me thinking. All you have to do is find an old building, wash it, replace the windows and you have a masterpiece for next to no money. I'm sure we've said it before, but there really should be city help for projects like this. The reusing of an old building plus the addition of additional floors, it increases density, brings life back to an area in the heart of downtown, and preserves the old buildings that all the heritage people are gaga over. I see no downside.

Quel beau projet... la seule chose que je n'aime pas est l'aménagement des condos... je trouve les espaces exigus mais ils sont parfaits pour des célibataires... mais pour les couples ce n'est pas terrible...
