  1. It also doesn't help that they won't have any new metal before late 2025.
  2. Nice to see an off-peak arrival and departure as well. https://simpleflying.com/avianca-launch-second-canadian-route-montreal/
  3. Agreed. Although it may seem like everyone is mingling, there is 0% chance that the prescreened US-bound passengers would be allowed to mix with Canadian domestic or international. The airport would lose their preclearance in a heartbeat.
  4. Are the trans order gates always full, or are there peak times like with the International ones?
  5. Sports charter? Who's in town?
  6. You earn a percentage of the distance of the flights. The specific percentage is based on what ticket you bought, and we can be seen here. https://www.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco/home/aeroplan/earn/air-canada.html#/ Yul-Lax is 2149miles Yul-Eze is 4872miles

  8. Old people don't like change, and young people don't vote.
  9. You know what they say. Measure zero times, cut zero times.
  10. It was Anaheim, we lost.
  11. Nonsense, it'll be completed right after Icône phase 2.
  12. Bumping an old topic, Icelandair will be back this summer for a 3-weekly schedule between June 24 and September 25. https://www.mbl.is/ferdalog/frettir/2022/01/12/icelandair_baetir_vid_fjorum_afangastodum/
  13. If they excavate during the winter, they'll be ready to start pouring concrete as soon as it starts warming up again. Perfect timing.
  14. If I had to guess why it took so long, based on the history of all travaux in Montreal, this pillar was built on top of a collector-sewer or a high-pressure aqueduct, and once construction started they found that the pipe was in a worse condition than they expect, so they had to fix that first, then build the pillar.
  15. They are more or less finished the pile driving.
  16. The folks at Airliners.net would like to see these.

That makes no sense from a fleet management perspective. Why would they want to have two different sets everything. Parts, mechanics, facilities. Even if the two lines don't connect, having the same design is a benefit on almost every front. The way that the CDPQI pinches pennies, I would be flabbergasted if they were different trains.
  19. Pretty much everything east of Lapierre can/should be replaced with a higher density multi-use development.
