Redéveloppement de la rue Ste-Catherine (2011)

Il y a maintenant pleins de pancartes sur la cloture sur la rue. il y a un rendu (le meme posté ici) mais il ya aussi des dates pour la construction. Les secteurs st-urbain a ste-dominique et bleury/jeanne-mance seront complété pour l'automne 2010 alors que le reste (st-urbain/jeanne-mance) sera complété printemps 2011. alors ca veut dire qu'ils vont mettre le pavé bientôt? J'ai bien hate de voir ca, je pensais ca allait aller a lannée prochaine.

Construction Project in the Quartier des spectacles

Festival site from June 1 to July 25, 2010

Madam,

Ville de Montréal's Service des inf rastructures, transport et environnement

[department of inf rastructure, transportation and the environment] wishes to

inform you of the next stages regarding construct ion work in the Quartier des

spectacles.

Construction During Festivals

In order to provide for upcoming festival events, construction work on Rue

Sainte-Cather ine, between Rue De Bleury and Rue Saint-Urbain will be

suspended f rom June 1 to July 25, 2010.

However, during this festival period, construction work on Rue

Sainte-Cather ine, between Rue Saint-Urbain and Rue Saint-Dominique will

continue without interruption.

Only one traff ic lane will remain open on Rue Ontario and Avenue

du Président-Kennedy, between Rue Clark and Rue Jeanne-Mance. However,

this traff ic lane will be reserved exclusively for the bus service of the Société

de transport de Mont réal and for emergency vehicles.

The attached map illustrates the construction on site dur ing the upcoming

festivals.

Major Closures

From July 26, 2010, the intersection of Rue De Bleury and Rue

Sainte-Cather ine will be closed to traf f ic for six (6) weeks.

Towards mid-August 2010, the intersection of Boulevard Saint-Laurent and

Rue Sainte-Cather ine will be closed to traff ic. This closure wi ll be in effect for

a six (6) week period.

Redevelopment Work on Rue Saint-Urbain

Work will then take place on Rue Saint-Urbain, between Boulevard De

Maisonneuve and Rue Sainte-Cather ine. This work will begin this September.

Opening of Rue Sainte-Catherine

When this work is completed, towards the end of fall or at the start of winter

this year, Rue Sainte-Cather ine will once again be open to traff ic.

Continued Access and Parking Regulations

For the durat ion of this work, sidewalks and buildings will be accessible at all

times.

We wish to remind you that Quartier international de Montréal is the project

manager for this construction work, for and on behalf of Ville de Montréal.

We are aware of the inconvenience this work may cause and are taking the

necessary measures to minimize its impact.

pourquoi ne pas permettre aux chars de couper par la gravelle du terrain vague. au moins la demolition du spectrum aura servi a quelque chose.
