I am happy to see someone actually thinking. I am not sure how many or if there is any L.E.E.D certified buildings in Montreal.

 

 

Yes, there is one at les Cours Angus on Molson street. It's a small building (4 floors). It was completed about 18-24 months ago!

Yes, and I think it was the first gold certified building in Canada. I know the UNO building on university also received its gold certification later.

On a inventé des moyens de calculer à quel point un édifice respecte les principes de développement durable (sustainability). Le plus connu est LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

 

Avec suffisamment de points le building est LEED Certified, avec encore plus il peut être LEED Silver, LEED Gold ou LEED Platinum.

Je crois que le 740 Bel-Air, dans le quartier Saint-Henri, est aussi LEED.

 

C'est un gros complex gouvernemental fédéral, mais c'est laid en ...

 

Ce batiment a un toit vert, récupération d'eau, chauffage géothermique...

Construit depuis 2003-2004, ils ont toujours pas fini le terrasement à l'extérieur. Je considére ce bâtiment une plaie dans le quartier.

I've only seen a house that was LEED (platinum certified) thing is its somewhere in California

 

It be nice to see more LEED buildings/homes (gold / platinum) here in Montreal and across the country
