Oh I have no doubt either, I’m just saying that whoever threw together this article based on unconfirmed information didn’t even bother to mention REM.

Problem is the REM tracks on the esquisse are on the left side on a continuous straight line, altough in reality they are on the right side and curving at this exact location to crossover the VIA tracks. I dont know how they will manage a station at this crossover twisting point.

Excellente observation.  Je n'envisagerais pas la station du REM à l'endroit même où les voies se croisent, mais j'imagine deux possibilités:

1) La station juste après le franchissement du canal: dans ce cas, un tunnel piétonnier serait nécessaire pour passer sous les voies ferrées; ou 

2) La station plus loin au sud, après le croisement, aux abords de la rue Bridge: les amateurs de baseball devraient marcher un peu vers le nord à partir de la station.

Il n'y a pas de belle vue possible vers le centre-ville, même dans les hautes estrades de la ligne du 1er but, le mur de tours de griffintown et le REM donnera que des percés visuelles.
