Le TOM devrait être en construction depuis longtemps mais les ventes semblent plafonner à 40 %,si je me fie aux dernières publicités qu'on voyaient dans le cahier Habitation de la Presse. Bien d'autres projets du centre-ville ont été lancés plus tard que le TOM et pourtant ils sont tous en construction sauf l'Avenue. Pour une raison qu'on ignore ce projet ne semble pas lever du tout, c'est peut être la malédiction du terrain sur lequel il devait être construit, soit le site de la terrible tragédie du Blue Bird.

La banderole annonçant le projet de condos Point Zero qui recouvrait le rez-de-chaussé a été retirée. Le projet est vraisemblablement bel et bien mort!

Cette banderole correspondait à une vieille mouture du projet, même pas celle qui était annoncée le plus récemment. Fa que, anyway, elle n'avait pas d'affaire là depuis longtemps.

Dommage, c'était quand même un beau projet qui aurait remplacé un affreux immeuble abandonné en béton sur R-L...

En espérant qu'ils ont l'intention de mettre une nouvelle banderole avec une évocation du nouveau projet!?!?

This mandate is to work with the City of Montreal (Ville-Marie Borough) towards obtaining all municipal approvals necessary for the demolition of the client's existing building at 400 René Levesque West and construction on the site of a new mixed use project of 28 floors that will include hotel, condominium and commercial components. The existing building is a former hotel and restaurant that is vacant. In order to demolish, it requires approval by resolution by the demolition committee of the borough and the granting of a demolition permit. During this process, the borough's urban planning committee and council must approve the architecture of the new project, which includes the surhauteur elevations and a minor derogations to the zoning bylaw regarding a slightly smaller setback along de Bleury street.

Interesting. They will at last demolish and build totally new. They probably discovered stuff in the old building that impared its 'survival'. Good riddance, the previous proposal was ugly... Wait... Or it is a resolution to close that proposal?.. Meaning the project is really dead.....

La période couverte commence au début 2013. Soit qu'ils veulent le modifier pour l'annuler, soit qu'ils veulent simplement le modifier (esperons que ce ne soit pas le premier!)

Je suis passé devant aujourd'hui. Tout est fermé, vacant et les fenêtres des derniers étages semblent même cassées ou défaites.
