  1. I hope the bridge came with strings attached (no pun intended). Federal bridge built by non-corrupt construction company from Ontario. Seeing we can't trust anyone to get the job done here.
  2. Pathetic. That is all I can say on this lawsuit. What would be interesting is, that the Altoria developer and the people looking to buy into this development sue the Unity developer, for this headache.
  3. Guess we are stuck waiting until 9am or 12pm or 1pm or 4pm or 5pm.
  4. I can't wait to see the final illustration before it goes up. It will be nice to have more building density in the area.
  5. 1000 - 7000 residences will be quite impressive to see in that area. You go North on Angrignon and take a right into the yards and your downtown in like 10-15 mins or you can even take the Angrignon metro, probably take you the same amount of time.
  6. Las Vegas Sun (Photos) This was minutes before it end. It was interesting how they put different country flags together, I am just wondering why they had one with the Imperial Japan flag though. It seems Michael did one tour stop in Montreal. Plus I do not even think if he ever stopped in Toronto. It is nice that Cirque and his family came together to do this. Plus have it start in Montreal. One song near the start sounded like their was lyrics with "Montreal" in it, but I could have been hearing things.
  7. It was quite interesting. A few technical problems and a few mishaps but it was enjoyable to say the least. I never had a chance to see the Elvis or Beatles show in Vegas. My parents said the Michael Jackson one was the best out of the 3. The setup was pretty impressive. Best of luck, traveling with all that gear.
  8. http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/sunnews/entertainment/archives/2011/10/20111001-115613.html Even though I wasn't a fan of his, I am seeing this tonight.
  9. Doesn't the AGO fall under renovation? Guess I should have said his first Canadian high-rise.
  10. Now that be a great idea. Plus it seems like he hasn't designed any buildings in Canada. Would be nice to have his first Canadian building in Montreal and not from his native Toronto or even have our home town favourite, Moshe Safdie. Plus there is David Azrieli.
  11. New Bridge Now (NDP) Sign up if you want.
  12. Montreal will always get the short end of the stick, no matter who is in power.
  13. It is situated North East of the Cote Vertu mall or like East of the huge Sears warehouse. Not sure if that helps. It is pretty much between a police station (not sure if the police station was relocated) and a school.
  14. Nice to see they are finally bringing some life back there. Thing is, it seems that they might be taking away some of the community garden though, thats if my memory serves me right. I wonder how this will affect peoples property values in Montreal North. Probably go up a few percent?
  15. The new train stations seems really nice. Montreal North Saint Leonard Anjou
  16. So that gives the Ritz now a 3 year head start instead of 2 years to regain all that it has lost under the renovation. Plus you cant rush projects such as this one.
  17. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/ssq-financial-buys-intact-unit/article2180067/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intact_Financial It didn't take long for it to change hands, yet again.
  18. It is coming along, probably a month or so before the exterior completed? I can't wait to go in November for my 25th birthday. It should be an interesting experience.

    Vidéos sur Montréal

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzaQGtIeAX0 I posted a pic somewhere on here about when he was in town. I thought it was for No Reservations but it was for his new show. I can't wait to watch it. Plus in the clip you see him waiting for a metro and walking around the city (because of the parking meter)
