Hé oui ! Le Complexe Desjardins avait déjà été prévu avec une place centrale ouverte à tous les vents.

 

J’ignore la date de cette photo

 

Je peux me tromper, mais je crois avoir lu à quelque-part que Jean Drapeau voulais créer une avenue "des champs-Élysées" montréalais qui aboutirait à la Place dea Arts.

Et bien... ce coin de ville est encore un endroit ou il y a beaucoup de mouvement en ce qui concerne la construction de projets interessants...j'aime bien le Complexe Desjardins... J'ai bien hate de voir cet été avec la rue st-Catherine en pavé....

Agreed. How did we end up with three rather boring looking brown towers??

 

calling that complex boring is being overly flattering, the hotel portion (the hyatt) looks like it was designed by a grade school student, it looks like they chiseled the windows out of a massive concrete slab.
