montréal Ligne Rose (ligne diagonale)

J'arreterai jamais de le dire  les espagnols question tunnels et metro se sont vraiment des pro. Efficace  et economique.

L'exemple a suivre.

A quick word about costs : comparer des coûts de 2007 et 2017. Pas fort. Ensuite on rit des estimations à la hausse, mais le coût du projet a presque triplé à Barcelona.
Pour le côté technique, c'est effectivement bien intéressant. On passe d'une Cadillac à une Hyundai, mais ça permet plus de développement, alors je suis entièrement pour.

Sauf que comme dit, la ligne doit être plus profonde car ils traverse bien plus d'obstacles qu'à Montréal. De plus il y a une vingtaines de connexion avec d'autres lignes, ce qui est assez énorme et démontre que l'on est même pas dans la même catégorie qu'eux niveau Métro.

If they are going to try and connect it to the REM and maybe in the future have it go west, that would be nice.

If they are thinking of just connecting Montreal North to the city, they should have it connect with Berri.

Avec des connexions à Mont-Royal et Place-des-Arts comme illustré ce ne serait pas nécessaire d'encombrer Berri avec une 4e ligne.

The Pink line is not going to happen it’s a Political ploy for Project Montreal to get elected.The stcum doesn’t seem to interested in this line. With the REM Light rail project soon to be started and with the blue line extension to be started in 2020. They will be no 6 billion dollar project that’s going to happen.YES I said 6 billion . Politicians lie to us all the time butt metro line extension is getting old real fast. I bet even if she gets elected this will never happen the way she wants it.

C'est en effet le même montant que ce que prévoit Valérie Plante pour cette ligne, 6 milliards. 

6 milliards en français = 6 billion en anglais.

Surtout que, si la ligne rose se fait dans l'axe proposé, ça devient de moins en moins pertinent qu'un prolongement de la ligne jaune se rende à McGill. Elle pourrait plutôt se connecter à la rose aux alentour de la rue des Pins (et offrir une deuxième station de correspondance vers le centre-ville et l'Est) et ensuite se rendre à Édouard-Montpetit pour mailler le réseau.

I thought of an interesting yellow line extension (on island)

It be Namur, JGH, UdM, Mont Royal Park, McGill (north end of the campus) and Berri. Call the Yellow line the Nature / Higher Learning Line. The reason for that name, it is connected to 3 Universities, 2 parks and 1 hospital. The other reason I had it extend to Namur, with the new developments going up there, it be good to have another line service that area and quicker access to the city.

J'aime l'idée! Mais je continuerais la ligne jaune quelque peu vers l'ouest dans le centre-ville, sous Sherbrooke, jusqu'au secteur du Musée.

Cette ligne couterait par contre très cher!
