The sloping, curved facade of the tower, which is gradually emerging at 800 Saint-Jacques Street, is simply spectacular… a true architectural feat giving the building a unique shape that will mark the Montreal landscape and signal, more than ever, the presence of the National Bank in the heart of the metropolis. La façade inclinée et courbe de la tour, qui apparaît peu à peu au 800, rue Saint-Jacques, est tout simplement spectaculaire… une véritable prouesse architecturale conférant à l’édifice une forme singulière qui marquera le paysage montréalais et signalera, plus que jamais, la présence de la Banque Nationale au cœur de la métropole. En effet, ce gigantesque chantier, entamé en novembre 2018, dotera l’institution financière d’un nouveau siège social de 40 étages pouvant accueillir 8000 personnes. Conçu POUR les employés selon une approche hautement participative, le projet favorise le bien-être au travail, et comprend, entre autres, un escalier panoramique qui réunit les étages de bureaux (niveaux 7 à 35), un parc urbain de 12 192 m2 et un jardin d’arbres et d’arbustes aménagé au sommet de l’édifice, soit à environ 180 mètres de hauteur. Réalisé conformément aux normes les plus élevées de construction durable, le nouveau siège social vise les certifications LEED® v4 Or et WELL™.
