  1. One thing Honolulu I can not believe Honolulu only at 31. You should see the designers boutiques they have just on one part of the blvd. in Waikiki. Its mind blowing.
  2. :goodvibes: Hopefully with this project starting up. Other buildings around will be thinking of redoing their exterior facades.

He blew my mind.
  4. Let me venture a guess the penthouse units are going to be like $1.5 million or something lol
  5. 450 units. I have a feeling some will most likely be bought and rented out for students. Plus starting at $139,000 thats pretty good and at 550 sq.ft, that size of unit not that small. Its for sure going to be great for a student (renting) or young professional. Now it consists of 1x 7-story tower, 2x 11-story tower and 1x 20-story tower. I guess that 7-story tower making up for the lost floors on the previous 3 lol
  6. (Courtesy of The Montreal Gazette) As for the picture of rendering. Thats what that area needs and this city needs.
  7. It seems so small. Only nice feature is the glass.
  8. I checked Ferrari of Quebec website. It says its 40,000 sq.ft. While Panzini website says 60,000 sq.ft OT: One thing I hope Montreal gets a McLAREN dealership just like Toronto. What would be nice if John Scotti would open have moved the Lamborghini dealership closer to Ferrari+Maserati and the Bentley dealership (near the Decarie)
  9. I cant stand the start-stop motion of traffic. Plus I am not a fan of being surrounded by 100s of other cars. One car I really want, is not legal for Canadian roads Ariel Atom 3. I am going to stick to driving on Victoria from the Dorval Circle to Norte Dame Ouest (service road type thing next to the Turcot yards). For sure beats being in traffic.
  10. I am totally with you on that one. I don't think anybody would object to that idea.

  12. Best thing is, when the new development goes up the homeless problem will most likely disappear and the people who were against the whole project will be happy it happened.
  13. I've had my license for 5 year now I think, but I only started to drive about a year ago. For the first 4 years I hated driving, I still do. Only time I like being on the road is early in the morning 3-5am when no one really out.
  14. Part of the yards were closed yesterday afternoon. It was a nightmare. First time ever being in traffic fml. I'll stick to getting off before the yards and driving on Notre-Dame Ouest
  15. wow They are actually going ahead. Good for them.

    La LNH à Québec?

If Quebec does get another team. It be nice to see them just full of Quebec talent and see how it would compare to Montreal mix and match from different countries and what not.
  17. Good news. If I am not at work, I want to be there clapping when the whole thing comes tumbling down.
  18. Honestly I am not sure. All I can really do is compare a low fuel consumption car to the Nissan Leaf. --- I'll compare it to a 2011 Ford Fiesta starts at C$12,999. Averaging 5.9 L per 100 KM. So with something like that, it would use 94.4 litres for the 1600 km. Which would be C$99.12 for 1 month. At that rate it would take 201 months (under 17 years) for the value to be the same. So it would take 321,600 km or so for a Ford Fiesta to be the same price as a Nissan Leaf just because of petrol use. Thats a shit load of CO2 though in the long run for not switching.
  19. I did some calculations... The Nissan Leaf can travel 160 kilometres on 1 charge on the 24 kWh battery. Which costs about $2.40. If you travel 1600 kilometres (in one month) its like 26 km one way to work and 26 km coming back from work each day. Its going to cost you $24 a month with no pollution. While with a VW Jetta 2.5 same distance it be ... $184.50 a month on petrol (also polluting). With saving $160.50 a month... its a cost savings of $1926 in one year. Plus in one year the VW Jetta would put out 3,321,600 grams of CO2
