I don't understand why this project is being built here, I thought the YUL project was going to take up the whole block. Is YUL still going to build twin towers with the Holiday Inn tower sitting right next to it? This seems rather poorly planned.

Developers of YUL did not know what to do with the extra portion of the lot so they sold it. Canvar jumped on it and is now building its 347th hotel-apartment tower.
