I grew up in the apartment complex just next door to this development. At the time, and for many years it was just a forest from the edge of my building to the office building at Sources and Hyman. They are almost done building it, the structure is completely up...

 

The other side of the street was completely empty save the gas station...

 

Since then all the undeveloped areas are disappearing... they built a couple of car dealers (Mazda, VW, Subaru), and a whole bunch of condominium buildings all the way along, all the forests are disappearing Especially in the past 5 years or so it has really intensified.

So i assume it is becoming more and more densified, right ? And does it look good, overall ?

Definitely, everything looks nice and I have no qualms except for a few of the traffic lights DDO has installed on des Sources (like the useless one 50 m south of Roger-Pilon). The architecture of the new buildings is not my favorite but okay, I'd prefer a more modernist look (I like the VW dealer building though I'd rather walk around the Chrysler dealer ).

 

The strip mall near the end of DDO also was torn down and the Adonis grocery store expanded all over the property with a nice new building...

 

The only "ugly" part is when you get into Pierrefonds or as I've been calling it, Pierreyang Even the grass in the median turns to crap as soon as you cross the border...

Phase 1 has been completed for about a year, and Phase 2 construction has been done for a while, I'm not sure if people have moved in yet

Belle trouvaille mais.......mais j'avais déjà créé un fil sur ce projet il y a de ça.......7 mois !!!! Par contre je l'avais mit dans les petits projets car 5 étages pour moi c'est encore petit.
