    Le Grand Déblocage

Les Bus Rapides only work if the lanes are not blocked by anything such as emergencies and traffic, but that is the case most of the time. Also they should have separated the legend by: Tram, Train, Bus, because the current way it is shown, is giving me a headache.

    Le Grand Déblocage

Trams for everyone! *bangs head on desk* Can we have the election already?!
  3. Similar to BMO's idea of moving some of their employees into the Eaton Center in Toronto?
  4. If trains in Canada cannot go above 200-250 km/h, it is useless, imo. I would love bullet trains in Canada, but that will not happen, since they are not cost effective and most probably become obsolete because of Hyperloop technology.
  5. I am tired of these special groups crying and I suspect they would still cry, if we increased the number of buses on the road that would be completely autonomous.
  6. Too bad they wont let you download all the information in excel. I would remove a few of options for the rankings and for me what is important: Employment score, Housing score, Transport score, Health ranking and Personal freedom.
  7. That could work, get money from corporate sponsors to keep the costs low and help fun the expansion.
  8. I am looking forward to the end result. It is nice to see projects like this on the island.

    Montreal's Time Square

I think the best spot for a Montreal style Time Square / Dundas Square would be on McGill College between PVM and Sherbrooke Street. I just don't know how the city could do it right, without making it look cheap. One thing is for sure Valerie Plante would never do something like this, but it would have been more Coderre.
  10. It is interesting to see they are upping the food court game. One of the malls that I have been to in Jakarta, part of it is just filled with restaurants which was pretty impressive. It will be interesting to see if that catches on here. Cominar should look for putting a grocery store inside the mall, but that is my 2 cents.
  11. Does anyone have pictures of inside the building they did not bulldoze?
  12. I guess it would make sense to be there. So close to the capital and many of the intelligence agencies, it may be easy to pluck some really good candidates.
  13. Place Vertu is dying. I wonder when they will raise the whole thing and make more homes or condos.
  14. I wonder if Andrew will move the Dynamite head office into this project, even after doing some renovations to the current office a few years ago. It will be interesting to see if they manage to get it completed by 2022 (first phase). I am really looking forward on how they will help with the flow of traffic.
  15. If I am still working in Ville Saint Laurent by the time the REM starts working, I will probably walk the 10 mins to the nearest station and take it a few stops to Bois Franc and take the bus to work. It might take longer to get to work, but I wont have to sit in traffic idling and wasting money. In reality, I should just take the bus to work, it takes the same amount of time, but the schedule sucks and Gouin is a nightmare.
  16. The 1st hydrogen fueling station will be in the Quebec City area at an Esso. If the demand is high, the 2nd phase would be to have a station here in Montreal.
  17. I was thinking of something similar a while back. Now for the city, province and federal government to find the money to be able to fund something like this.
  18. If I remember correctly the HNL Rail system is years behind schedule. It will be a miracle if they do hit their new 2025 target.
  19. Deux-Montagne line is right behind my house and Roxboro station is about 6-8 min walk.
  20. I am looking forward to seeing if this project will increase the value of my home or not in the next 3-6 years.
  21. How up-to date is the map? I checked and all the part of Pierrefonds that was under water shows that there is no issue with flooding.
  22. Lets see how the new administration takes a wrecking ball to what was already planned.
  23. Cry me a river! Hopefully there will be no more delays.
  24. Thanks. So we are losing out on capacity, but winning on frequency. Not bad. It would be nice to see the renderings for all the stations.
  25. REM - CDPQ Infra What is the current capacity of the Deux Montagne line with the double decker? Their website no longer shows where the above-ground part and ground level part of the system is located.
