Probably something to the effect of the promoters still in litigations with the neighbors. Bertson, if you don't want to show the email, at least update us please!

reading between the lines, i think they are trying to get rid of as many contracts as possible so they can re-sell for a higher price

Really? Is the project doing well in terms of sale? I thought it was pretty stagnant for the last couple months and that it was not doing to well....

They probably want to relaunch the project completely, however, they need to "get rid" of those who have a valid contract to purchase a unit.

Understandable...with the change in market price and the possible accumulated debt from the delays, they would want to sell the project at a much higher price. But with so many competing projects, it would not be easy.

This seems extremely risky considering the amount of offer of luxury condos out there...relaunching with higher price point could kill the project entirely...unless time is no time constraint for the promoter.

They have to attract new customers somehow. According to Bertson's info, it appears that a good number of purchasers decided to stay with Triomphe, but a handful did leave when the litigation was dragging on. Selling their units at too small of a profit would not be wise for them either.
