How is it that Dino and the OCPM killed the Mackay because it did not fit in the neigborhood and that this ugly building did get the green light to get built?

I feel the same way. I,d rather not even think about the Mackay...it pisses me off way too much to even think about it!

Ok maybe that design didn't fit there,like they say...but why don't they try to build it somwhere else ?

They ARE the one's who define the immobilisme that is plaguing Montreal.

 

I mean, can you imagine, after 40 years a developer is interested in the wasteland that is Guy and Rene-Levesque and he gets run out of the room?? The area needs to be RE-INVENTED. This was just the right project to start it off.

 

The OCPM doesn't even have binding power - they only make recommendations... where is/was the Mayor on this?
