There are some excavations happening in the basement of my building, so initially I thought they screwed up and the building was slowly going to collapse.

Huh?? Why on earth would they put a huge ass Esso sign just like that on Mies’s building?!?! It ruins everything. Would they be making an effort to integrate their Esso sign into the Building?

A lot of my friends from these websites are in Business. They tell me that they go on SSC, because they want know which markets to invest in. He should come to Building Eng!

Why the sad face? I understand that this website is not only about skyscrapers, and it encompasses a wide range of topics that gets exchanged. I however see both this website and skyscrapercity (Esp. Skyscrapercity) through my own eyes, as one that deals mostly with skyscrapers. Mtlurb is a focal point for construction data for the region of Montreal, and I think it is fair to say that it is also a focal point for skyscraper data for the region of Montreal.

I was always under the impression this is a forum where we talk about (mostly skyscrapers), urban issues. Maybe I feel that way because I discovered this site through skyscrapercity.

blah! I am in Building Engineering. I don't bloody understand. Considering this is a forum on Skyscrapers, I was always surprised to find that most people from these website don't choose building engineering/architecture. The pattern I see more is going into business.

I had some classes in the MSB building too. It is really nice. What engineering are you in? I think we have enough people to make a little Concordia very own Skyscraper Fan club!

I am quite excited with this project, I will be starting Concordia this fall and the architecture, especially with the EV and Business building is great!! Feels like I am going to study in Rotterdam! I can’t wait till they put the signage and the metro Concordia building gets build, the whole campus will have an unique feel to it. I think it is too bad that the proposal my firm I work for did not go through. It was a double skin façade for the metro building, with trees popping out of the 10th floor.

Je prends l'autobus le matin à Lionel-Groulx tous les jours. Je suis triste car, les gars prennent beaucoup de temps pour ajouter simplement un ascenseur!! Et quand j'ai lu le journal la semaine passée, il a dit que chaque station qu'on ajoute un ascenseur va coûter entre 10-15 millions dollar (par station). Selon moi, c'est un peu trop pour les contribuables. -
