  1. I took a photo of the bus station. At least we have a clean looking bus station. Untitled by Asok Thirunavukarasu, on Flickr

  3. I like the impact it is making!
  4. Very nice - now we have our own wall of skyscrapers that hollywood can feature in alien attacks. Watch starting @ 28 seconds.
  5. I now can see this from the EV Building at Concordia, from the 10th floor.
  6. Why does PVM look like the top corner of it has broken off?
  7. ^ Green shirt man, bottom left - he is conservative!
  8. ha ha, bring out the pitchfork and torch! Though, generally Montreal seems to have two scales of building - the likes of PVM, 1001, then the rest. Most likely Rocco's fault.
  9. The scale of this building is great from the first photo and the building fits in very well. Yet, in the attached photo by Rocco, the scale is off. The building looks too bulky and out of place.
  10. No way, Toronto has way better stuff being built than Chicago.
  11. I still can't believe they changed the design! Sigh, this video basically sums up my reaction to this project...
  12. Aww, look at that - our own (mini) Gardiner Expressway!
  13. I find Mount Royal impressive from the Plateau area, for instance, looking down Rue Rachel E (corner St. Laurent,) or from Avenue McGill College. You don't get the same effect from Griffintown. Hence can't we not try to preserve the view from certain angles? I wish we would adopt this, it makes a lot more sense. Building a 300 m tower next to Centre Bell is going to take away any of the existing views.
  14. I dislike how the exterior shades don't align with each other - and the misalignment does not seem intentional (or hope it is not) as it is not easy on the eyes.
  15. ^ Shhh! 83 floors = 350 m! Let the dream last just a few more minutes.
  16. I like the new proposal! They should glass the sides too.
  17. ^ I have to be honest, I found your post a bit odd - a bit patronising, and not quite sure why you went there. Anyway, my post was more relating to the architecture and how I found it interesting how some of these architecture spurn out in the least likely places.
  18. What I don't understand with this project is why not triple the height, and have more green space?
  19. That is not bad, at least it is facing a residential street. I find temple architecture in the west really interesting. A lot of these communities were small, and started out rather modestly - like this Hindu temples my parents used to drag me to every week back in the days. I remember it used to be an old factory but over the years, many additions were made and they look more like traditional temple design now.
  20. Who is going to climb 5 flights of stairs every time they come here?
  21. It could be worse, they could keep the building and have red cubes coming out of it.
  22. Oh yeah - this is def. the missing link for this area!
  23. Be strong, oh brave one! We must face our reality, it is the only way to push out of our mediocrity.
