Surprisingly, from Guy-Concordia - where I live - to the middle of the bridge was only a 6000 step walk! And the bridge is lit up for Covid I think.

My understanding is that the Complexe DesJardins land was donated to the city of Montreal by an individual with the condition that there should be a street created between Place Des Arts and Notre Dame Cathedral. The city never followed through - but when they built Complexe Desjardin, they decided to create this 'street.' I thought tonight would be a good night to take photos because of the snow.
