Beaucoup de choses expliquent le 12 ans. Premièrement : la démolition du centre au complet et l'objectif de récupération au maximum des éléments du centre.

 

Si tu visites le site web du projet, tu verras qu'il y a un énorme effort qui sera fait pour recycler les pièces du centre en démolition. Ce serait bien plus rapide de tout jeter, rien trier, et repartir avec des matériaux neufs, mais ce serait l'environnement qui en prendrait un coup.

 

Aussi, ils vont re-creuser les bassins qui sont présentement remplis de terre, c'est assez important comme opération et ça ne prend pas 1 mois à faire.

 

Je t'invite fortement à visiter le site web du projet où tu as tout l'échéancier en détail avec l'évolution et les projections des travaux.

I've been a Lowney fan since it's phase 1 but I'm becoming quite interested in the Bassins project. Honestly, I prefer the proximity to the subway at Lowney but I might trade such an advantage for the open and quiet surroundings of the Lachine Canal. I guess I still have a few years to consider the trade and see if I can upgrade to a larger size unit. All this will also depend on the real-estate market in Montreal and specially in Griffintown, that I feel has it's own "micro market". If the Bassin offers a possibility of 2,000 condos I guess I'll have time to think this over and plan the switch. I can't wait for the first sales to be announced to see what will be the styles, sizes, prices and move-in dates...

Pas de doute il y a du potentiel... et je vois tout ce secteur devenir ultra populaire à mesure qu'il se développera. Si j'avais de l'argent à investir en immobilier à Montréal, je considérerais le canal avant tout autre endroit et cela pour une foule de bonnes raisons.
